These days I was twitting about Brogan, seeing he writes for Entrepreneur’s Magazine as well. I recently started to follow him on Twitter, I really don’t know why, I’m reading his blog anyway. A pity he is the one in the “one in three Americans are overweight”. Checking a year ago, I was impressed of how he isn’t giving any valuable information away, but now, he’s giving free e-books, other people’s free e-books, absolutely free indeed, not like the sharky marketers who doesn’t have any … [Read more...]

Darkness and other predictions
I have to say that I am not a fan of Darren Aronofsky’s films or visions, or whatever. There are different ways to express alienations and passion and love. What did I say? Love? Where had Darren Aronofsky showed love? In The Fountain ? So gloomy, so distant… love. These movies had all a great deal of artistry but they left me with a very sour taste, sad, irreversibly … [Read more...]
The Globes
I wanted badly to comment the Globes, but I’m letting the specialists to do this, and my thinking will come later, less about the awarding, more about the films. Here you have the … [Read more...]
Bono and Discovery Channel Advertising
I’ve just found out (again), that Bono helped the Third World’s external debt to be paid. Where? On Discovery Channel, in a car advertising show. His car, was considered “cool” I don’t remember the brand. The guys who made it, present every week a new car, or type of engine, they’re wrecking or testing, or whatever. What I’ve noticed is that they are as subjective as I am (you'll see why), with the difference they’re paid to say a Citroen is better than a Honda, even when they have identical … [Read more...]
Smooth Sunday Afternoon
I was undecided between reading Nassim Nicholas Taleb's "Black Swan", playing some videogames and watching "The Manchurian Candidate", the 2004 version. I choose all three, and I'm writing all this after watching the movie. Of course, alternately I stopped the movie, reading from the book, which is fascinating - I want to finish it today as well - and playing some card decks, or some levels at various arkanoid type games. It offers the brain exactly what it needs, concentration, smoothness and … [Read more...]
