An old category had to go, a newer and more complex one was born today. The previous posts in this branch, can be considered a stretching before the serious things I am going to share with you with the time coming, something that can offer the reason to publish anything on the internet.
The origins are not obscure, but it is obvious that when this phenomenon started, one had to write in HTML, the short form for Hyper Text Mark-up Language, which by the way, as stated on the footer tag of wordpress.org , code is poetry.
Blog is a weird combination between web and logged or came from be logged, this is too ancient to research now, goes back to 2002. What is in fact what all the people call blog is an ordered succession of updates to a website, written and organized like a diary. What is the difference between a normal site presentation and a blog, is that the blog has exactly this peculiarity, to look like a roll of text, with the newest “update” or post, on top. Here, one can express himself, exposing publicly just that, the diary, commenting on what he observes using a broad band of topics, coaching, or artistically writing and so on. There are blogs which look like newspapers, with several topics often updated more than once a day per topic. What can be an incentive for writing a blog is the recognizing by the general public, or by the fans, or by the specialists. There are already created, because this came with the territory, on a parallel, the instruments to measure the “reach-ability” of a blog, the rank givers. They are a few, but very important, because such a rank can give one the advertising value rate. Or if not that, the ability to be taken in consideration by important people from what it is already called, blogosphere. It scratches my brain from a long time. The most important platforms to create a blog, a diary, an ordered presentation or just poetry, are WordPress and Blogger. There are other as well, Tumblr, Posterous, others…
They say you’re listed better on the search engines if you have visitors, comments, blah blah.Might be true, but…
This blog has today three weeks of life. In it’s first day after launch you could have typed the banal name of the blog, Rodolfo Grimaldi on Google, which between us, is the best search engine ever, and came everything related with the name, Rodolfo Grimaldi’s Twitter accounts, there are two: @RodolfoGrimaldi and @GrimaldiBiz, you can see the submission buttons on the sidebar, under the author’s presentation, the Digg and the former wordpress.com hosted blogs. Nothing about this one, particularily. Ok, content were created with the same rhythm as before, rarely enough to not attract attention. The second day after launch, it appeared on Google on the page four, with the “another WordPress Blog” description, but at least, the domain link was there. I couldn’t believe. What happened next day, can you imagine? The blog ranked first item on the first page, with the description I made for it, in the theme settings. No fake keywords, no Alexa ranking yet, no other form, a traffic less than imagined, people just knew the old links and went there, their flow thinning even more after observing no new posts there, obviously.
I say you are listed better if you are smart and invest around $ 50 in a framework like this one, which I recommend with all my heart.
Genesis is the name of the framework! With a total amount of $79.95 you’ll purchase a theme child with it, which makes it a real bargain, actually the real bargain. You’ll see there, what can you choose. The difference with other premium themes from other developers is that here, this notion doesn’t exist. You purchase a theme, you use it INFINITE times on INFINITE sites, for you or your client’s . All the other developers offer you a “developer license” for this, costing over $100 more than the “single site license” which is close to this price, anyway no less than $69.
The greatest offer of all is all themes packages for life, with one purchase.
(You see this, right? These are fonts you can use with any Studiopress package, everything is highly customizable, the plugin is called Internet Fonts)
If you’re taking blogging seriously, you have to think to professionalize the look of your online exposure, even without having to sell anything, to adjust the investment. You want visitors? You want fame? The Studiopress package is what you need!
