It was a time, one and a half years ago, when I grossly underestimated reddit, the social sharing site defined as "a source of what's new and popular on the web". I really haven't got it, but I've been hasty. I was submitting only my links, and what I've submitted from other sites I liked, wasn't much appreciated, mostly because I'm too direct in disapproving when I don't like something. It is not a lack of diplomacy, It's just that I'm bored with retarded or superficial minds. When I say … [Read more...]

It’s Christmas Time
Christmas is almost here, joyous time for all of us, no matter religion. A new and better year will come! In this spirit, I am eager to help out some bloggers stuck in the traps of free blogging services. Bloggers are a diverse and vibrant community, but, unfortunately, many accomplish far less than what they are truly capable of. Many times it's because the only trifle about a blog is starting it. The rest is complicated if you're serious about blogging. It is a shame that many … [Read more...]
Brazil, How?
“The monetary system of a people reflects everything that the nation wants, does, suffers, is.” Joseph Schumpeter It's astonishing how a country with a record debt to IMF at a moment in time, quite recent, not a century ago, can become the seventh economy in the world, with the prospect to overtake Britain by becoming the sixth largest economy in the world in 2012. Prison Break
Four seasons of contrariety, a perfect start, an amazing idea, continued up to exhaustion, when the creators and actors had a good time with public patience. A very highly rated series, highly rated on imdb, my favorite source of feedback, even for something as trivial as the television. Television for some, DVD releases for others, Prison Break is a drama series created by Paul Scheuring and broadcasted on The Fox Broadcasting Company for four seasons, during 2005 and 2009. Great success, two … [Read more...]
Spirited Away and Other Stories
An animation movie from one of the most acclaimed directors from Japan, Spirited Away is maybe the first movie of his genre, figuring in the Top 250 list on imdb, on a position very hard to alter and for people who haven't seen it, utterly unbelievable, position 45. I haven't said it's the first animation to make that particular top, which is not as the imdb rating system, is something different and complex, his position is the first, ahead of a lot of other "famous" movies. As subjective as any … [Read more...]
About Symbols
We live in a world governed by the senses, where the visual dominates. Advertisements are mostly based on the visual, as the movies, magazines and photos are visual, also. Usually every expression has a message. Sometimes it is an open one, sometimes is just symbolic, sometimes is a trigger. Speaking of "trigger", I remember Zoolander, a movie I'll praise in a different post, in it's own category, Movies. What I was thinking now, was to re-group some previous posts in a new and more appropriate … [Read more...]
