I liked a lot this series, one of the best sci-fi I've seen on television. With an exquisite distribution, Edward James Olmos as Admiral William Adama, Mary McDonnell as Laura Roslin, Jamie Bamber as Cpt. Lee 'Apollo' Adama, James Callis as Dr. Gaius Baltar, Tricia Helfer as Number Six, Grace Park as Lt. Sharon 'Boomer' Valerii, Katee Sackhoff as Captain Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace, Michael Hogan as Colonel Saul Tigh, Aaron Douglas as Chief Galen Tyrol, Tahmoh Penikett as Captain Karl 'Helo' Agathon, … [Read more...]

RIP Tony Scott
Tony Scott, the director of Top Gun, died Sunday at age 68, his publicist has confirmed to Entertainment Weekly, a site I used to be subscribed to. According to the Los Angeles Police Department’s harbor division, the British-born filmmaker jumped to his death from the Vincent Thomas bridge near Long Beach, California. According to officials, the Scott climbed a fence on the south side of the bridge and leapt off around 12:30 p.m. Police reportedly found a suicide note inside his black … [Read more...]
The Facebook Bubble
Very interesting what I read these last two days about Facebook' stock market adventures. The Business Insider's Henry Blodget, explains them very worldly. Facebook, which became "public" a few months ago with an Initial Public Offer of $38 per share (fantastically over-evaluated in my opinion and not only mine), dropped it's stock market values at $19, which is quite half. This seems to be a maneuver of the investment bankers who handle the shares' trading. They were paid over $170 Millions to … [Read more...]

They haven't desecrate it, of course, it was a matter of charging too much the server, for the glorious benefit not of Kazakhstan, but of other sites, so I haven't lost any content, and fortunately, after a new revision, the script allowing this blog to be seen, was restored. My dear friends, if you use an absolutely normal hosting package, keep your site simple. … [Read more...]
Pan Nalin’s Samsara
Recently I had the opportunity and great pleasure to finally sea a movie that makes instantly my top 10. Samsara, an epic spiritual adventure, a metaphor. There are not enough words to describe this beautiful movie, so I'm not going to disclose much of it, but you have to know what was written on imdb: A spiritual love-story set in the majestic landscape of Ladakh, Himalayas. Samsara is a quest; one man's struggle to find spiritual Enlightenment by renouncing the world. And one woman's … [Read more...]
