Preikestolen, also known by the English names of Preacher's Pulpit, or Pulpit Rock, or Preacher's Rock (only such a thing exists in USA already, on the Georgia portion of the Appalachian Trail), and by a Norwegian local name translated as "the carpenter-plane’s blade", is a massive cliff of 604 meters above Lysefjorden, in Ryfylke, Norway. It is one of the coolest places on earth, visited unfortunately by just between a hundred and fifty thousand and two hundred thousand people per year. After … [Read more...]

Sucker Punch, a Movie for Zombies
Sucker Punch is a 2011 movie, directed by the sickening mind of Zack Snyder, the creator of Cruel and Unusual Films, a production company hatched together with his lovely wife, Deborah. It is considered on imdb, an action, comedy, thriller. It's rated 6.1, which is way too much. The first song, voice performed by young Emily Browning herself, looks like a cover over Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams", only it's a cover of cover after Marylin Manson, with some really cruel addiction. Now Mr. Shankar played the sitar. He played it from an early age, until he played it with great internationally … [Read more...]
Show Me Love
A refreshing Swedish film from 1998, an European answer to American Pie... It was brilliant. This will be a short post about a teen movie. They were kids, they were disoriented, they were crazy but that was normal at their age. It's not normal to think it's funny to mug a retired person, but it was just a figure, a stylish one, nothing more. [source - this one and the rest of the pics in this post] It is a 7.7 imdb rated movie. It won some awards, especially in Europe: Best Foreign … [Read more...]
