It was a time, one and a half years ago, when I grossly underestimated reddit, the social sharing site defined as “a source of what’s new and popular on the web”. I really haven’t got it, but I’ve been hasty.

I was submitting only my links, and what I’ve submitted from other sites I liked, wasn’t much appreciated, mostly because I’m too direct in disapproving when I don’t like something. It is not a lack of diplomacy, It’s just that I’m bored with retarded or superficial minds. When I say “retarded” I don’t really mean it, the people I’m talking of aren’t thinking with their own heads, so they manifest themselves like retarded. People there were not appreciating my links, but it was not their fault. I was the dumb one and never dug enough to find all the “sub-reddits”, that’s how their categories are named. Now I have a new start there and I’ll let you know of the progress I’m making as soon as I’m going to make one. I don’t promise I’ll write a book, as I did on Twitter, only to be disappointed and leave it half way. It would have been the new kick on Twitter, for Twitter. But it’s not worthy to waste my time with it, because Twitter is overloaded with bots. Ha! By the way, what nerve on the great Ana Hoffman who embraced Christ first and last, to tell on her blog that Twitter has closed her account because of her tweets “automation” and over repetition of them, and she couldn’t re-opened it even with four consecutive e-mails sent to Twitter “authorities”. I’m in awe of her blog, she’s better than … wow, a lot of people, I like her style, too, on her blog, not on Twitter. With that, it’s another story. I think if she’s going a little bit more smoothly with Christ, she may appeal to Altucher to help her getting closer to security there, this one being buddy buddy with someone there, with Biz Stone apparently or even with Jack Dorsey himself, the original founder, but I don’t remember anymore, James kept his promise on over a thousand written words per day, so he publishes in a rhythm of minimum three posts every two days, making me to loose track of all his trivia: blogs, books, TV, a very prolific individual. Her advantage is that both of them have Thesis as the wordpress theme for their blogs. Hmmm.. you may think I don’t like James Altucher or Mrs. Hoffman, maybe. No, it’s not the case, I love them both. But… both of them are celebs on Twitter. Both of them are not following back, Ana Hoffman unfollowed the accounts supporting her. Ana Hoffman said in a post that it was not her fault, it was a glitch of the system to unfollow people who followed her and she was following back, or unfollow them after she has been followed back by them. I would consider this unethical. You may unfollow a bot you followed back by mistake, having over one thousand followers, it becomes hard to check everybody. She advised you to “not do” this. I found now that she had multiple Twitter accounts closed and she still use Twitter Adder for whom she’s an affiliate and is still promoting. Of course she opened new accounts. The show must go on. Oh! I remember that one advertising company on Twitter had this condition to consider an account highly influential: to follow maximum two thousand people and be followed by over five thousand. I thought it was lame and I left it. More than that I was in a wrong place for them, as well.
Google Plus Thanksgiving
I made mistakes. I have ignored the invitations to Google+ , I received in August. With my stubbornness and Facebookophobia, in a real bad chain of events, reading articles blaming Google for this and that, accusing it of theft and that their new Social Media tool replacing Buzz was just another Facebook, only lamer. I stayed on Twitter, I have ignored reddit, I used StumbleUpon…
About Google Plus I’ll say more in another post, but if I recognized being wrong ignoring it, you have to join me there. You’ll like it a lot more than anything else. I was delighted I have not been discovered by bots. I think it’s harder to open an automated account on Google Plus.

Ana Hoffman, as Daren “problogger” Rowse and Kristi “Kikolani” Hines, offers great info and tips on her blog, she deserves the high Alexa rank her blog attained. As a provable fact, she’s almost two thousand places in front of Brogan, which means at least a thousand or two more visitors per month. But attaining this rank level presumes a lot of work, which is to be highly appreciated even with Chris Brogan who is mostly speaking.
