[updated October 2015]
I have modified the former Art category as follows: posts appeared in “Art” without being mentioned in a sub-category of this one, are now included in Essays, a separate category.
TV (former “Art” sub-category) is now a separate category on its own, and what was called “Writing” (another former sub-category) is now called Books, and consists a separate category on its own.
Former category “Motion Pictures” is called now Movies, and has now nine sub-categories as follows: Personalities, Comedy, Awards, Foreign Movie, Classics, Animation, Lists, Documentaries, Shorts.
Social Media already has Just Twitter, separating my few posts specific to one of the coolest Social Media sites ever created and a new one will be added, related to Pinterest. I’m gonna think about a name, if not, it’ll just remain “Pinterest” and that’s that.

I was thrilled to notice that Flash!, which was originally conceived as a “news” category, is not only a bunch of not short enough posts, but became a place for obituaries. I’m joking, I recently read about some statistics that say “rich content, of over two thousand words, converts better”. I don’t know, maybe if you’re the Dalai Lama, people will visit regularly and stay on your site for hours and hours. I think I’m addicted to online reading, I read things from the beginning to end if I’m interested. Maybe it’s just a boast, you are free to challenge me if you think differently. Nowadays it is hard to keep people more than a few minutes on a site, if they don’t want to buy something and are looking for a specific item, or that site is Facebook, where they are triple connected, with their MacBook Pro, their iPhone and their iPad, at the same time, to be sure they don’t loose a “like” or a “poke” from the community. I highly appreciate that sort of bio of guys openly advertising for Starbucks, where this folks can often be seen with the above mentioned items at a corner table, slurping their tall latte demacchiato. Free WI-FI is to be appreciated, only it’s just included in the inflated price. My picture on the About Me page was taken in a Starbucks in Istanbul. I swear I haven’t been paid for doing it, exposing it and boasting about it. I mentioned Brian Gardner there, but with him is another story. I don’t care if he’s being paid by Starbucks to advertise them, but if he’s such an addict as he says, he spends a lot of time giving them their money back. He is good, he’s a coder, where to create the best smoothest wordpress php code if not at a corner table in your favorite Starbucks, where the sun is shining and your hair is washed by it’s rays?

I read a few months ago that five hundred is the optimal number. Less is bad for Google, more is bad for readers, their attention span is hardly even so wide. This is for one post, not for what you “create” in a whole day. Two thousand words are good for the home page, Mine has only sixteen hundreds, just to not bore people too much. I met other bloggers, who publish two or three posts per day, and all three together haven’t got five hundred words. They got videos instead. They got traffic with them, because those videos are viral. Nothing wrong with the videos. As long as they attract traffic, they’re ok. Value is what interested you, the visitor. My point is that they also got the Apple-ness, of whom they advertise for free keeping Apple prices too high. In the mean time, maybe you remember, when was the last time, an Apple product was made in US of A?
