Why do you have an account on Google Plus? I consider this question, legitimate. I think that Google Plus can replace Facebook after all, but not if Google geeky execs make G+ accounts for every gmail owner or even every youtube account owner. They already did that, so, they may be at one billion members, with only 250 million (approximately) accounts behind Facebook. So they claim. You know that it is totally unrealistic, don’t you? With all my high appreciation for Google Plus, they can’t be … [Read more...]
Social Media Strategist
This is a new term as far as I am concerned. It implies marketing knowledge and a proved promotion method, advertising skills and a certain ability on Social Media. I have discovered that it is a trending “quality”, the Social Media “specialists” exercise from home. I wonder how they evolved from specialists to strategists? As far as you sell something valuable regarding methods of handling social media platforms, you can be considered whatever you pretend to be considered. When you show … [Read more...]
More Thoughts on Google Plus
The glory you may experience on Google Plus if you don’t have much to say is ephemeral. I consider Google Plus one of the best auxiliary tools for self expression near your website. Your website is the best and Google Plus is the second best. You write a post and you spread it to your friends on Twitter and Google Plus. Myspace was the first social media site I took seriously, otherwise, I was on Yahoo 360, or ICQ before that, like everybody else :). My favorite was Twitter, succeeded by Pinterest, very close … [Read more...]
Pinterest Profile
They say Pinterest is drawing more traffic to a site than Facebook! Since I don't have a Facebook account, I don't know what to say. Not important at this stage, because Pinterest is not about self promotion, in my opinion. It's not like reddit, of course, where if some retard wants to troll you, you don't stand a chance, and again, if you're already famous somehow, you may post everything and people visit your submitted link even out of curiosity. I recently read an article written in August … [Read more...]
The Pinterest Experience
"Pinterest is a pinboard-style photo sharing website that allows users to create and manage theme-based image collections such as events, interests, hobbies, and more. Users can browse other pinboards for inspiration, 're-pin' images to their own collections or 'like' photos. Pinterest's mission is to "connect everyone in the world through the 'things' they find interesting" via a global platform of inspiration and idea sharing. Founded by Ben Silbermann, Paul Sciarra, and Evan Sharp, the site … [Read more...]
