In a previous post, I have inserted a funny video with Obama. I made it because there is a Twitter account in President Obama’s name, ran by his Social Media staff, and that we are in free countries. I liked the video, and I had to put it there. It is called sometimes, political satire, 🙂
I have ended the previous post with Facebook, actually that was what drained my mood. I don’t hate Facebook, the “war” between them with Google is really annoying. The obligatorily “connect through your Facebook account” in some cases (not in all, just in some of them), is what drains me all the time. You see, I consider Facebook over-evaluated.
It’s going to go out of control as an enormous bubble, training Google down with it, or we’ll come to another saying, a paraphrase after Malraux, “the Internet will be owned by Google, or it won’t be at all”, which is alarming in the highest degree. They want to know all the time where you are physically and what you’re doing. So you say on Twitter what you had as breakfast, you use Foursquare to continuously let them know where you are, so “the people interested to meet you, may contact you on spot”, isn’t it absolutely fantastic? And connect with your Facebook account, so we will serve you better, letting us know all this information about you.
[I borrowed this image from Washington’s Blog – thank you!]
The “war” between the two giants is absolutely futile. It’s nourished by the advertisers, and by us, you. Facebook has 800,000,000 e-mail addresses and information about how you look, who you are, where are you from, your IPs, your home addresses sometimes, who are your friends and who you don’t like. The BS about “advertising” is what it is. BS. You drink continuously Coca Cola mostly because you see it all around, not only on Facebook. You don’t go to Starbucks because you saw them on Facebook. You buy with your eyes, from TV spots and exceptionally made adverts, on magazines. FB is only pushing the click to the subliminal info, and of course is selling every square centimeter of it’s layout by the second, maybe.
Google stocked every search you’ve ever done, every path you’ve taken, and they want also your “Facebook” type of info from you, they are pushing “+1” on the market, a total copy of the code and look. They own adsense. They manipulate adwords. Wherever I go after I publish on my boating blog, I’m followed by cruising, yachting and boating adverts, on all the other pages. But that’s not the only thing, they started now to collect your phone numbers, “just in case you need verification”.
This two, know everything. The things are made so that if you aren’t on the internet, you don’t have a Facebook account or a Google address (with that, an “account” is created automatically), you don’t count as a person. And who are those non counting persons? The old retired and sick with pensions which can last for just a week, the bums and the homeless, the people in totally non-developed areas, and so on. Even a great part of these categories, left a trace on Facebook or Google, somehow, some time…
So, what’s the point? The world is corporate owned, the governments are corporate sponsored, as long as one needs a billion dollars, US Dollars to organize his election as the most powerful puppet in the world, what have this two giants to fight about, actually?
[this is actually a Twitter avatar, I liked it so much, I borrowed this GIF and posted here, to show you that “they” are evil but not unavoidable. What a genius Mr. Nolan, what a masterpiece, what a brain…]
You know something, wonderful people? They know everything. They know the movements of every cubic centimeter of C4, from the preparation until the detonation, everywhere in this world. And the bombs still explode. Why aren’t they stopped? Why terrorists exist? Why do we need to be “protected” by an army? Why aren’t we investing in welfare, but in war? Don’t you see the frailness of such a system, with war costing thousand times more than the health care?
So, my twitter rules are simple, dear friends. Everybody needs followers. Think with your own heads, don’t follow the bots, check yourself continuously, don’t leave crumbles of feces around the mouth, it smells, and it’s contagious.
You know that what you see is not true, isn’t it? So, another Obama video for you, will do just fine. It didn’t for me on reddit, they don’t taste my sort of satire there, they think Obama is like lady Gaga, the expression of the oppressed and freak, the nonconformist, the poor and homosexual. Let’s cry together, nigga’!

Hi Daniel, I’m enjoying reading your blog and especially liked the video here.
I’m not sure that I’m getting your point of view, but maybe if I keep reading something will click.
I often hear people talking about how Google and Facebook have command over so much of our personal information but I don’t think there’s anything we can do about it. And if it wasn’t Google wouldn’t it be someone else? The whole concept of the world wide web is inescapable in my view – and what is the worse that can happen? Think about it on a personal level and on a global scale too. I guess the worst is that we blow each other up and destroy the planet before we can all get off of it and find another planet to play on.

Thank you. My point of view is quite simple. The personal information we’re lured to give away to Facebook and Google, isn’t used to our interest at all. I have already thought it on both levels you say. I don’t claim I have the solution using this system we’re in, now. We should re-think the whole system. Instead of doing it, actually we let ourselves trained in approving or disapproving the ideas implemented in our brains. You’re right with the worst, blowing the planet without alternative to find another, but you see it, isn’t it? This is another “implemented” fear, it exists there.
I liked the video too, that’s the reason I planted it here, :), and I like your blog.
