Christmas is almost here, joyous time for all of us, no matter religion. A new and better year will come!
In this spirit, I am eager to help out some bloggers stuck in the traps of free blogging services.
Bloggers are a diverse and vibrant community, but, unfortunately, many accomplish far less than what they are truly capable of. Many times it’s because the only trifle about a blog is starting it. The rest is complicated if you’re serious about blogging. It is a shame that many blogs with great content stay in the shadow with little traffic. A solid blogging platform, a system that supports your efforts, is in many cases the catalyst to success. A friend to support you is the bonus.
My offer is posted on Twitter and Google+, and, if you notice the blue ribbon at the top of the page, feel free to click on the link and see for yourself what I can do to make your blog better and more fruitful. For the rest of the year, any of the three variants you prefer is available at 20% less than the usual price. This is my holidays offer, and it starts with your best interest.
You want a blog that is easy to manage, and rewards your investition of time and effort. Get familiar with the best blogging platform ever created. Sorry, it’s not Blogger. The real deal for serious bloggers is WordPress. Dot ORG.
No, they’re not all the same!
The trouble with the two most popular blogging platforms, WordPress.com and Blogger, is their numerous frustrating limitations. First of all, they’re free services, and, at anytime, your blog might be closed down without warning, frustrating enough. The reasons are numerous and include copyright infringement, double content, Adsense problems, and so on. Secondly, free blogs don’t count. It’s not in the sense that they don’t matter, but Technorati doesn’t count them anymore. You should care about that because Technorati is a high authority on the blog market, as well as Blogcritics, and it is related to Amazon, which owns Alexa. “So?”, you may ask. Well, Alexa ranks forty million sites by traffic, not links or PR (page rank). Despite that, a free blog cannot have a high rank on Alexa, even if it has a lot of visitors. Everything is interconnected, debatable, and I won’t get into that right now. The main idea is that sometimes “free” is not in your best advantage. After all, you get what you (don’t) pay for, and that often translates to chaos, hard times trying to post or customize content, time wasted in frustration, everything for not having to deal with more technical issues that, although challenging at first, are not hard to learn and quite useful. There is no real advantage for the serious blogger on free platforms.
Even great people make mistakes, and I’ve seen folks I really appreciate struggling with a mess of a free blog. Most chaotic mixes were on Blogger. WordPress.com is better, but consider it only a warm-up for WordPress.org – the same platform, your own domain, proper hosting, no more limitations, serious blogging, a business maybe.
However, be aware of the fact that if you pay for hosting you can only blame yourself for any mess you may find your blog in. That’s if you don’t have a friend to help you. If you’re willing to make the transition to a successful, fulfilling blog that really makes a difference, you may call me webmaster. This way, you’ll have all the support you need, from a real human being who has been through the same process that awaits you.
I am very pleased with my host, Hostgator. I have the possibility to add some more domains to my account. So, I can buy a domain for you and host it on a WORDPRESS module with my package, for the incredibly low price of just $55.95 for a whole year. You’ll have a domain name just for you, .com or .net, with hosting for a whole year, email @ your own domain, and your blog will be accepted in Google and all the other major search engines within a week from the day the blog is created. Most of all, you will have someone to share responsibility with; I’ll be your webmaster. With 20% off for the Holidays, this will cost you just $44.95 for the first year.
This is your first option. Cheap, secure, no headaches, only $44.95.
The second one is a little bit more complex. On your WORDPRESS module, I’ll install the mighty Genesis Framework. To use it, you’ll need themes created for it, so, I’ll include in the package no less than five free child themes to be used with Genesis. With all this, you’ll sleep better. Genesis has SEO included, so the high rank for your blog is almost secured. The rest is your part of the fun: good content, social media promotion, self promotion, things you’ve done on the free platforms as well.
Your old “free” blog will be transferred on the new host, all your comments and contacts will find their right places on the new platform, and your pages will have a better look, for just $99.95 minus 20%, only $79.95.
Domain + host + WORDPRESS + Genesis + 5 free child themes + SEO settings + e-mail + Google in less than a week = $79.95 and Christmas Cheer until 2012.
For a few dollars more, you’ll have all the above and a Premium Genesis Child Theme, which you may choose from the StudioPress Themes for WordPress (on the page, click to “view our themes”) or from StudioPress Marketplace and I will buy it for you. Visit both links to choose, there are offers from different packages. (They are affiliate links, like the one to Genesis and the one to Hostgator). This normally costs $119.9, but since it’s Christmas and we’re all trying to help others, take 20% off the regular price, and pay just $95.95 – limited offer.
This offer expires on Dec 31, 8 PM US Pacific Time, which gives you a lot of room to think and to compare around.
Attention! No StudioPress AgentPress Child Theme in this package. For StudioPress AgentPress Child Theme you’ll have to pay a little bit more than the usual difference. The advantage is that I may get it slightly cheaper, being an affiliate.
The second year of hosting, you’ll have to pay just $49.95 for hosting, including the domain name renewal, no matter the option you choose. I have already explained the difference between my offer and doing everything on your own, on the landing page. So, contact me now, because now is the perfect time to upgrade your presence on the internet. No matter if you come from Blogger.com or WordPress.com, the freedom of having your very own domain will make you forget you’ve ever been a contributing guest on your own free blog. You’ll finally have your OWN blog!

Wow! Really nice blog.
What is your most successful technique to create backlinks?
I mainly use article directories for my backlinks. There is a new one out there called Streetarticles. They are pretty good and fast at accepting new articles as long as you follow their basic guidelines and that’s ok in order to maintain higher standards. My issue is that my articles do not generate a lot of click back to my blog (i.e. CTR < 1%). I really try hard to create quality articles related to the items I want to promote (i.e. ladies watches) but it just doesn't create the traffic I was hoping for.
Any advise would be really appreciated?

Are WordPress.com and WordPress.org the same company? I had no idea they were two different CMS platforms.
