This is just a short announcement about some future posts on this blog, specialized mostly on movies, but with a great success in other areas as well. It seemed to be neglected. I hope you don’t blame me too much, it was just conjectural. Actually, I’m having difficulties establishing a good list of comedy movies. I just keep thinking that I haven’t seen all the movies (as I wish) in the world, and I may be misleading you in the task. I don’t know, really, I still have a good opinion on my tastes, but here, if it will differ of your opinion, it’ll be not harmful at all. Previous post was in another category, one that I really enjoy, only this blog is about my love for movies of all kinds. My tastes may seem weird for you, but I’m sure I have a few supporters. I’m still working to a list which will have A Night at the Roxbury, Team America: World Police, Bridesmaids, Borat, The Dictator, Zoolander, Harold and Kumar (the Escape from Guantanamo Bay and the adventure going to the White Castle features), Step Brothers, Anchorman – The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Small Time Crooks, Young Frankenstein, on it.
Will Ferrell through Woody Allen through Mel Brooks, a lot of Cancer humor (the good quality, the best, the genuine subtle humor masked as gross, sometimes) mixed with the Sagittarius type (Woody Allen and Ben Stiller) and all the others, actually. I don’t have on my list, an Adam Sandler movie, or Jim Carrey. Not even Steve Martin. I think Eddy Murphy is way much funnier than Steve Carrell, even that I liked a lot Crazy, Stupid, Love , last one I’ve seen with the Golden Globes acclaimed Academy member. Never mind, I’m sure that you will not miss them, and you will not miss Catherine Keener either. That’s it, I’ve said it. A lot of good comedies have some drama mixed up. The ones with a lot of drama are not on this list, even if I still enjoy them. “Still” is from Stiller, Ben Stiller, a real comedian, often put on the same boat with Adam Sandler, but the difference between them as comedians is the same existing between Gene Wilder and Bela Lugosi.

I love Bernie Mac, I like Ashton Kutcher sometimes, but they’re not on any movie on this list. George Clooney as well, is not on the comedy movies list. Cohen Brothers put him in a comedy, four years ago, Burn After Reading. Good one, even Brad Pitt acted “funny”. The Big Lebowski, a film with a high imdb rate and on all the comedy lists I’ve seen, doesn’t make my top twenty. Oh, and the Ocean’s series, considered a sort of comedy after all, is missing from my list. The “crazy” type, like Scary Movie, or Epic Movie, with all that brilliant gags, are also missing. No Monty Python, no Peter Sellers, they’re too good for me. So, that was my difficulty, to decide which movies deserve to be on this list, I’ll probably publish on imdb site as well. Your opinions are going to be treasured. Don’t be shy and have your say.
