Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou aka George Michael, has been found dead in bed by his partner/boyfriend Fadi Fawad. I have been waiting for more news, even for something “darker”, but apparently he suffered just a heart failure. Authorities don’t suspect anything out of ordinary. Fawad tweeted and echoed: “I will never stop missing you”.
ITs a xmas i will never forget finding your partner dead peacefully in bed first thing in the morning.. I will never stop missing you xx

George Michael’s Fame
I liked George Michael. He was and still is one of of the most representative stars of the last century’s nineties. Former member of “Wham!”, he came to fame especially with “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go”. When he started a solo career, in ’87, it was in a duet with Aretha Franklin, one of his favorite artists. Shortly after, it came “Faith”, which helped him to enter the legend. Anyway, I remember him being invited to all tribute concerts in his era, and even when singing a cover (like Queen’s “Somebody to love”), he gave that song his unmistakable touch, which was unforgettable.

Without doubt, “Father Figure”, “Freedom 90”, “Jesus to a Child”, “Praying for Time” are other great hits helping him to sell more than a ton of albums worldwide!
Do you think we have time?
These are the days of the open hand
They will not be the last
Look around now
These are the days of the beggars and the choosers
This is the year of the hungry man
Whose place is in the past
Hand in hand with ignorance
And legitimate excuses
The rich declare themselves poor
And most of us are not sure
If we have too much
But we’ll taking our chance to say
I sang twenty years and a day
But nothing changed
The human race found some other guy
And walked into the flame
And it’s hard to love, there’s so much to hate
Hanging on to hope
When there is no hope to speak of
And the wounded skies above say it’s much too late
Well maybe we should all be praying for time…
— from “Praying for Time”
Epic words, actual happenings, nothing changes, life continues through the end.
George Michael’s Life
He used to claim he was bisexual. In 1998, he was arrested by an undercover policeman in a toilet, being baited to reveal his hidden homosexuality. It was called “lewd behavior”. Things were getting worse because the press just wanted to destroy his image of a celebrity with million fans of both sexes. He was arrested in the years to come for drug related charges. After that, he wholly agreed to his gayness.
His first great love was a Brazilian fashion designer called Anselmo Feleppa. You know that it’s almost impossible to find a picture with him on Google? It’s happening because the “images” section is invaded with photos of Michael together with his longest relationship ever, 12 or 13 years, with the flight attendant (and more) named Kenny Goss. By the way, Goss publicly expressed his profound sadness as soon as he found out.
George Michael was a Cancer, so, as a water sign, he was prone to depression, like all water signs. He was depressed by Feleppa’s death shortly after their relationship’s beginning. The guy died of AIDS. He was more depressed by his mother’s death four years later.
He was an activist for diverse charities: famine, AIDS, etc. He voted Liberals. He never married and he never had a sexual relationship with Brooke Shields even if they briefly dated.
George Michael Found Dead Alone in His Bed
He apparently was addicted to heroin, according Fawad, his last partner. They were very discreetly together (even unavoidably spotted by paparazzi) since 2011. Anyway, Fawad wasn’t living with Michael lately, so he found him on December 25’s morning when he came to take him for a Christmas lunch they were together looking forward to have. He declared that “things were complicated lately”. The abuse made him unrecognizable in his last days.
One of My Favorite George Michael’s Videos
We will never forget him. With all the sadness, I can’t wait for the tribute concert. I’m also sure that he will go up in all time best selling music charts as well. A great talent, with all his addictions.
