America’s Got Talent Judge, Mel B, Is Soooo Confused…

August 13, 2018 By Daniel Mihai Popescu Leave a Comment

America’s Got Talent upgraded its position in my preferences list, out passing Saturday Night Live by far. Lorne Michael’s guys seem to be still in awe regarding Trump’s victory in the 2016 US elections, still expressing unconditioned and even the dumbest support for Madam Clinton and the Democrats. Alec Baldwin’s performance as Donald Trump is in decline, McKinnon’s appearances are less and less comic.

In the meantime, as I have previously stated, America’s Got Talent became better and better. Howard Stern’s replacement in the jury with the show’s creator, Simon Cowell, plus the fourth member’s addition like in the British version, already proved to be very inspired alterations. Also, the one million dollar prize is extremely motivating for contestants, the really talented are struggling to perfection. Unfortunately it’s rare when the perfect performer wins, there always has to be a story behind him, to complete the package up to the final vote which eventually is artistically manipulated by the jury and the executives. Simon Cowell is actually both.

Howie Mandel is the older jury member, and if near Stern he appeared to be very smooth, this season he is tougher than Simon Cowell. This one had the reputation of being extremely straightforward, we watched him in the Britain’s Got Talent and a few years ago, in the American Idol. Unlike Stern, he doesn’t swear and especially in this 13’th edition he shows a very high quality sense of humor. Not that Stern lacked it, but he was sometimes gross.

They replaced Sharon Osbourne with the German born Heidi Klum together with Spice Girl’s Mel B. Heidi shines and if she is sometimes straightforward or even strong willed, she never fails to be adorable.

Howie, as a former standup comedian is rarely disturbing, Simon shows himself as we know him, only softer and smoother with the time coming.

In her second year, Tyra Banks is very inspired and seems to be a very good replacement for Nick Cannon. She is entertaining and sweet, with a great sense of improvising.

Is Mel B Dumb?

What is changing, I wonder? This year they had to invent the dumbest jury member? Not that she remarked herself for her brightness, but in this season, Mel B is absolutely annoying. If some people can find her accent exotic, almost Bob Marleysh, it’s actually a very uncultivated or uneducated (as you wish) Jenny of the block accent, only not from Brooklyn or Harlem, but from some workers’ neighborhood in Manchester or Birmingham. Anna Friel sported the same accent in Goal II: Living the Dream, if you remember… It’s rough and screeches the ear.

Mel B is the one who rapidly loses her senses and throws her filled glass at Simon, spreading some civilians as well, and never excusing herself; she’s a diva, since you, the one who were unfortunate enough to get a seat behind her royal butt, must to be happy if she flooded you with whatever liquid she’s having in the paper glass with the sponsor’s logo.

For another parallel I want to draw, I hope you remember Sarah Palin when she run for VP in McCain’s presidential campaign for Republicans in 2008. Palin had minimal general knowledge and she didn’t know how to pronounce a lot of words, she mostly didn’t know the words’ meanings. Not that the bulk of the American people noticed, what was worse was that people read the press, and the press was cruel. People started to hate Palin after initially quite resonated with her.

Explanatory Video

So is Mel B. She’s “confused”, she lacks elementary knowledge and doesn’t have any sense of humor. Plus, she’s vile and she’s the only one who used f words when she didn’t understand some roasting jokes. She is totally unfunny. The following video is a softly made fragment of a larger compilation. One can fill a whole hour with Mel B’s ignorance and obnoxiousness.

I sincerely hope she will be replaced with someone more appropriate. At American Idol, Paula Abdul has been fired for much less.
