Google Plus Counterattacks

The Internship - Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson

Of course that Google's reply didn't let itself waited, to the nastiness from TechCrunch, you remember which one, the "Google Plus is a Walking Dead" or something like that, by the co-editor Alexia Tsotsis. Google's Yonatan Zunger, said in an article on Blogger platform based Google Plus Daily that Tsotsis' statements are BS, because nothing changes after Vic Gundotra's departure, on the contrary, they are improving the future mega Social Media platform to marvelous features, and Tsotsis has … [Read more...]

Ocean Governance

John Kerry, Secretary of State, USA

At the end of February, between 24-26, took place the “World Ocean Summit 2014”, an event organized by “The Economist” Magazine and some world leaders too. This year’s Goal can be resumed in these few words, taken from the magazine’s site:  “Governance is critical—our seas are in trouble for want of governance. But good governance is difficult to forge—not least in the high seas, where there is little formal jurisdiction. The sustainable use of our seas is equally essential—and intimately … [Read more...]

Google, the Tool – Another Essay

Dolph Lundgren in "Masters of the Universe"

I have been enraged when I figured out that Facebook’s creators signed the pact with the devil and facilitate it to become one of the most important tools to manipulating its users’ minds, under the mask of “connecting people” (excuse me the use of Nokia’s motto). I have calmed instantly. Money doesn’t smell, isn’t it? You want billions, you make them, if you donate and help the system handlers, because they control all the billions on the market. With its humanitarian cover, of helping “bad … [Read more...]

Google Plus “Supremacy”

December 8, 2013 By Daniel Mihai Popescu Leave a Comment

Google Plus vs Facebook 3

Why do you have an account on Google Plus? I consider this question, legitimate. I think that Google Plus can replace Facebook after all, but not if Google geeky execs make G+ accounts for every gmail owner or even every youtube account owner. They already did that, so, they may be at one billion members, with only 250 million (approximately) accounts behind Facebook. So they claim. You know that it is totally unrealistic, don’t you? With all my high appreciation for Google Plus, they can’t be … [Read more...]

What Is Going to Happen? Web 3.0

June 6, 2013 By Daniel Mihai Popescu Leave a Comment

Cyberspace

I wanted to name this article something like this: Blogging, where to? , but I got distracted and some other ideas popped up not leaving me just with what you have here. I hope I'm gonna be clear enough in telling you that it seems it'll be tough for newbies and non-celebs. By celebrities, I mean the already known people on the internet at the moment, be them good or bad, the "verified", the rock stars, the "winning" actors, the bunch of Grogans or Kim Kardashian. They say it'll be different. … [Read more...]

Author Rank? What For?

Schmidt is very profound

Do you remember Alvin Toffler with his Future Shock? He argued that society is undergoing an enormous structural change, a revolution from an industrial society to a "super-industrial society". This change overwhelms people, he believed, the accelerated rate of technological and social change leaving people disconnected and suffering from "shattering stress and disorientation"— future shocked. Toffler stated that the majority of social problems are symptoms of future shock. In his discussion of … [Read more...]
