Mad Max: Fury Road is a B movie with a lot of glue to the public. It made the imdb Top 250, it appeared on the nominations list for the Oscars this year. That is not a problem, if some committee wants to brainwash the population, it nominates such a movie for Best Picture, for Golden Globes, for whatever. It's insane, I know.
