Insurgent, the second installment made after Veronica Roth's "Divergent Trilogy", is not worse than the first, Divergent itself. Despite what other critics say, I liked it as well. I remember giving Divergent a 9 out of ten on imdb, which was a great rating. I wouldn't do the same with their rival franchises, "The Hunger Games Trilogy" or "The Maze Runner Pentalogy".
