True Romance is a 1993 American action romantic crime film directed by Tony Scott and written by Quentin Tarantino. It is very entertaining, and it has a freshness that has reached even Tarantino's taste. He declared at a moment that he wouldn't have directed it better than Tony Scott. Tony Scott, the director of Top Gun, died Sunday at age 68, his publicist has confirmed to Entertainment Weekly, a site I used to be subscribed to. According to the Los Angeles Police Department’s harbor division, the British-born filmmaker jumped to his death from the Vincent Thomas bridge near Long Beach, California.
