Star Wars Force Awakens Broke the Records
Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits a box-office record of $57 million after just one day in USA, yesterday night. Internationally, it earned over $72 million in two days, thus making a total of around $130 millions in two days, globally. The record was detained by the last Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2 which earned $43.5 million in the first day in USA. This happened in July 2011. Valley of Flowers
Valley of Flowers (La Vallée des fleurs) is a 2006 French-German-Indian Independent Film directed by Pan Nalin of Samsara fame. This is one of the best movies I've ever seen, it is beautiful, catchy, passionate, and spiritual. I think that it is unfortunately not known at large. I feel that writing about it, is revealing enough to spoil the surprise. [source of all pics: imdb] It is an adventurous romantic drama, it is a love story of at least two centuries, started at the beginnings of … [Read more...]
Soul Kitchen

Soul Kitchen is a 2009 German movie, directed by Akin (you see, I started to use his European surname spelling, with "i" instead of the Turkish "ı"). The movie is also written by … [Read more...]

I really wanted to show just a few videos here, without too many explanations, since they are very explicit, but a post is a post and it needs words, at least in my book. What follows is about mountain bike trials, the street trial section, a sport, a hobby, an activity pushed to unimaginable levels by this Scottish phenomenon named Danny MacAskill. Robin Williams Is Gone
Incredible news! Another great actor dies young and unexpected. Robin Williams wasn't as young as Heath Ledger, but 63 can be still on the peak of his life. It is stated on NBC Blog that he battled demons decades before his death. Born in Chicago, on July 21, 1951, he was one of the most talented actors on screen. [source] Talented are plenty and the tastes are plenty too. Like Ledger, he won an Oscar for supporting role, but he received it in person. I read (and unfortunately it is … [Read more...]
