Nominees and Winners

January 26, 2012 By Daniel Mihai Popescu 1 Comment

It was imperative to publish the Academy Awards Nominees, this being this blog’s spirit, a blog started as an opinionated expression in contemporary culture, especially the cinema, the seventh art, probably the best form of expression our days. A lot of surprises, some notable absences, but the Academy rules, and it won’t be the first time when this pages express a different view regarding the Oscars and the Golden Globes, only for the moment, there will be no views yet. This year’s Globes were not dissected, but the echoes from today’s media are relevant. Much to be appreciated. Please enjoy and think about the following nominations, they are definitive, they are taken from the official Oscar’s site, oscars.org. Under the Academy nominations, you’ll find the Golden Globe winner, if and when was possible. Please remember that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, known as HFPA, has very cultivated members, compared with the movie industry professionals like Beyoncee or a guy less funny than he thinks he is, Steve Carrell.
