Not quite a Flash! category post, the annoying subject of hating Anne Hathaway finally got on my nerves. This is not a post about her acting talents, or her talents on the whole, such one will be more appropriate on Actors & Actresses, this is my reaction, so I publish it here, and to change the view on the home page as well. On my Google News page, I have a dedicated entertainment section, where unfortunately, half of the news are about Anne Hathaway and her “hateability”.

The New York Times article in the picture source link is another expression of what I said. Alexis Rhiannon sums up all the hate, and if you ask me, it’s clear that the article is an homage masqueraded like a hateful one. Really hateful is this one, written by Sacha Weiss in The New Yorker. A shame. SFGate.com Blog compiled a list with the most annoying celebrity of 2013, and Anne Hathaway is on the first place, “hands down”. Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise, Kiss’ Gene Simmons, Pierce Morgan and one of the original Hathahater’s himself, Franco, are on top 10. Cruise is another declared hater, because of a Katie Holmes’ spoof on SNL two years ago. I wonder if Beyonce or Jay-Z started to hate Maya Rudolph after another hilarious spoof on SNL, quite recently.

She’s just so affected [and] actress-y that even when she wins an award she’s out of breath, and then she has the standard joke that sounds like it’s [been] written [for her]. Why is Howard Stern so sheep oriented? I mean, why is he a sheep when it comes to Anne Hathaway? It’s a question as rhetorically as it gets, because everybody know he’ll never answer something like this. I “sort of like” James Franco as an actor, he can prove sometimes he can act. But he’s a douche, like all the other haters. To be a real gentleman and publicly stated that he turned down to sleep with Lindsay Lohan, doesn’t make him more than an asshole.
It’s not a short list, the haters list. You see, they’re usually frustrated guys and ugly girls with names like Holly Leber(wurst) from policymic.com. One have to crap the crap, not eating it. Anne Hathaway is on the fame wave and the haters are trying to get some glitter from this unnatural activity. It will never spark on them, but on her, again and again.
As Andy Kaufman said: “Do we have hate-mail? We’re famous, man!”
