Guns Ban

Obama "training"

Sometimes I hate to write here. I'm bored to death of Assange's picture on my home page, and of Assange in general. I was one of the guys who believed in the deplorable Wikileaks. I still believe in a free press, a free word and ideas trading. I believe in a free world. But as my wonderful partner use to say, "world doesn't want to be free". I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I only try to see the shadows. Very little things happens without a reason. Media is a dangerous instrument. … [Read more...]

New Media Award?

July 25, 2012 By Daniel Mihai Popescu 2 Comments

This is confusing. Remember maybe my statement almost two years ago, "It is not enough", an homage as I saw it, to Julian Assange, Wikileaks founder. He was freed on bail, after nine days of detention for questioning over alleged sex offenses. It was 2010. [source] I was duped as I wasn't by the "Arab Spring" or other mass arranged events. I was duped because I respected John Pilger who continue to sustain that Assange is a kind of angel of freedom. A controlled freedom, unfortunately. … [Read more...]

A Few Words About Henry Kissinger

June 15, 2012 By Daniel Mihai Popescu 1 Comment

Noticing Henry Kissinger's name on a book exhibition recently, gave me the idea of a few inquires on this man's activity. I know that there are people who think that Vigilant Citizen is a much better source for underground news, but I have a feeling their "news" are highly exaggerated. I am a believer in logical information expressed with patience and wit. I even believe what happened in the book Trance-Formation of America, and you know why? Just because it was written with logic and wit. It … [Read more...]

There Is No Conspiracy!

January 22, 2012 By Daniel Mihai Popescu Leave a Comment

Remember when I said that is interesting and fine to start with a quote, the quote which actually inspired me to write the post in the first place? I have done it, but I think it's not good for SEO or for the look of the blog, my theme, which has a home page very specifically designed, resumes the beginning, doesn't keep the difference between "quote" or "blockquote", pictures, links or bold characters :). So, better I start with my own opinion, and only after a certain number of words, with … [Read more...]

Post Numero Due

January 2, 2012 By Daniel Mihai Popescu Leave a Comment

"Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the US, in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it." - excerpt from US President Woodrow Wilson's The New Freedom I … [Read more...]

About Symbols

December 3, 2011 By Daniel Mihai Popescu 2 Comments

We live in a world governed by the senses, where the  visual dominates. Advertisements are mostly based on the visual, as the movies, magazines and photos are visual, also. Usually every expression has a message. Sometimes it is an open one, sometimes is just symbolic, sometimes is a trigger. Speaking of "trigger", I remember Zoolander, a movie I'll praise in a different post, in it's own category, Movies. What I was thinking now, was to re-group some previous posts in a new and more appropriate … [Read more...]
