They say Pinterest is drawing more traffic to a site than Facebook! Since I don't have a Facebook account, I don't know what to say. Not important at this stage, because Pinterest is not about self promotion, in my opinion. It's not like reddit, of course, where if some retard wants to troll you, you don't stand a chance, and again, if you're already famous somehow, you may post everything and people visit your submitted link even out of curiosity. I recently read an article written in August … [Read more...]
Pinterest Tricks
Looking for a Pin It button, I found Chykalophia Design. You notice the button right after the post title and somehow asymmetrically. Why do I have it there, and not aligned with the others? Because it was created by Ari Krzyzek from the above mentioned site, and is a combination between the pinmarklet (a bookmarking device one put on the browser's bookmarking toolbar) and a png button. It's not a plugin, it is a piece of code which let you to choose the picture to pin, every time. There … [Read more...]

My Pinterest
I struggled for a long time now, to show my love for Pinterest. In the mean time, this wonderful "Social Media" site, flourished in a rhythm hard to contain. It's not what it seemed first. Looks like a "girlie" thing. Maybe it is the "girlie" thing that pushed this social site so high up. It took me no long to be enthralled by the perspective. I'm not going to do info-graphics or to show you tutorials on how to make an account on Pinterest. I have greater expectations on you! If the great … [Read more...]
More Sub-Categories
[updated October 2015] I have modified the former Art category as follows: posts appeared in "Art" without being mentioned in a sub-category of this one, are now included in Essays, a separate category. TV (former "Art" sub-category) is now a separate category on its own, and what was called "Writing" (another former sub-category) is now called Books, and consists a separate category on its own. Former category "Motion Pictures" is called now Movies, and has now nine sub-categories as … [Read more...]
10 Essential Things for Blogging
This is not the first time when I read with great pleasure, Neil Patel's advice. I have to say that lately, we are more and more on the same wavelength. I found myself a lot of tricks, and I applied also what I've seen here and there. I met unfortunately a lot of cheap advice, or even devious. Cheap advice is the bunch of e-mails you're going to fill your inbox with, if you subscribe to "Pamela and Wendy's Tips" to set up a Wordpress Blog, a pitch to sell you a very expensive "Site Setup Kit". … [Read more...]
