I have joined tsū, today was my second full day, almost… They’re under maintenance for the moment, so I took some to say a few words about this new social media network, without exaggerating enthusiasm.
It was launched with an original ideas by four entrepreneurs, Sebastian Sobczak, Drew Ginsburg, Thibault Boullenger, and Jonathan Lewin. They have invested together seven millions US dollars, or they gathered the sum, which has as main catch, the sharing of its revenue, with the users, and not fifty/fifty, 10% for them and 90% for the users, in a MLM sharing system, which can afford you to make even more, if your network is bigger in the “family tree”. Anyway, that’s the catch, this is something which can attract a lot of people from the main networks, Twitter, Facebook or Google Plus, which don’t share anything with you, they share info with the advertising corporations which are going to target you wherever you log in, and the advertising money between the shareholders. I don’t say it’s bad, we actually love it, even if we care or not, we love to be on G+, Twitter or Facebook, because they have “electrocutes” (excuse my Idiocracy quote).

As far for now, it seems less concentrated on how glamorous its members are, what doctorates in Social Media they possess, or of course, their accounts on Xeeme. I actually never got that. They don’t show your G+ link either, and maybe it is better, it’s ok. For me, I can say that anyway I have almost instantly connected with a lot of Google Plus friends, and of course, Twitter.
The way of posting is as on G+/Facebook: Text with uploading picture, or link which will find if there is a picture in the respective post, even more, I think it is accepted your uploaded picture as well. The truth is that it’s not necessary to do that 🙂

Next, you have to follow the instructions, one of them is to confirm your email address, and, after that, you’re in! You can start posting. Original content is greatly appreciated, more than re-sharing other friends’ posts. There is a limit of re-sharing per day, I think it’s five, or at least I have been blocked with the message “You have reached the limits of re-shares for today at a moment, and there were only five re-shares in my stream.
This is enough to know about that and the money, unless Bubblews which pays you a cent for every move you or your viewers make, here, the network allows you some revenue after every day of activity. They say that this is the reason they pay you, to create content which will be viewed by others, who will view also the advertisements around, and so on. Nobody bores you with pop-ups and not any advertisement blocks your screen.
You have two values posted for public, friends and followers. Following back doesn’t automatically make you friend with the follower, it’s like on myspace, you have to request the friendship which will be accepted, declined, or purely ignored. If accepted, you’re “friends”, you see each others posts in your streams. If you just follow someone, you see his/hers posts, but they don’t see what you post if they don’t follow you back. There is a restriction in “friendship” requests, it appears to be 50 per week. It means you grow or stay still, steadily, or over night, because usually your requests are accepted.
One single setting upsets me: You can allow just to be followed without receiving friendship requests. It’s a wannabe celeb setting, because there aren’t celebrities yet active there, even if they’re rumors that Curtis Jackson was approached to make an account and a basketball player, Carmelo Anthony. Of course, nor Guy Kawasaki or his newest social media partner, co-author, etc, Peg Fitzpatrick are missing, but their activity is close to zero. The same with the stars, they are not there, only their accounts. Anyway, it is up to everyone to choose his/her friends, they are the ones sending requests, not the other way around. If Gaga or Spears or even Rihanna will join, be sure that 90% of the content will be managed by their handlers’ employees, and you will never receive such a request.
The scamers elite is also present, but don’t be afraid, you keep up with your posting, and everything will be all right. Don’t spam, and you’ll be accepted, or maybe I am wrong and you’ll find your public anyway.

Click the link, open an account, build it a little, put a picture as avatar, they let you to edit it, it’s awesome, up to 10Mb, wow, and a cover, the same, max 10Mb, I mean. They offer you the tools to crop, to enhance, to do a lot of cool things with the pictures, and it’s fine, otherwise it will be in vain, I suppose, to start promoting your invitation link if you don’t have a good looking profile.
I don’t know yet how many accounts you’re allowed to follow, in trenches, totally, I really don’t know that, because it’s not my style. I repeat that I’m not new on Social Media, and I have a sense of conduct, even if it’s personal.
Doesn’t matter if you have more friends than followers, as long as you post and don’t bother others. That’s it for now, I shall post more with the time passing 🙂

Update, November 1, 2014: My third day on tsū, so I have to make some corrections or to complete what I said above. The limit for re-shares is 8, you’re allowed to follow only 1,000 accounts, and you can post only 24 times per day and you can have only fifty friend requests pending.
