Keep the Classic Google Plus UI

December 7, 2015 By Daniel Mihai Popescu 2 Comments

INTJ Poster

Google Plus is again in Beta with some dramatic changes. I haven't openly commented three weeks ago, when they launched this version because it's an experiment. Google Plus architects claim it's based on people feedback. The thing is that people who gave feedback usually know how to complain for every constructive change trying to dump it asap, and when idiotic changes like this new UI interface appear, they "love it". It is incredible! Google Plus has never consulted the masses when it … [Read more...]

Google Plus – a Fall from Grace

May 9, 2015 By Daniel Mihai Popescu Leave a Comment

Google Giant

I have never considered myself a nagger regarding every single change in social media, I have always thought that every change is a new step through progress. I have rarely complained, but I have tried to highlight something wrong when I saw it. Of course, we can be more subjective than objective, but there are other factors that recently surfaced and they are based on some statistics. I'm very upset by the disrespect Google shows the users. Actually Google, a company who grew because of its … [Read more...]

Thoughts on Some Social Media Sharing Tools

October 21, 2014 By Daniel Mihai Popescu Leave a Comment

Communication on Social Media

Believe me, dear friends, I want to spend a little bit more time on Google Plus, because it's serious indeed! Only I can't! Like any of you, I have some other things to do, too :) Sometimes, the technology plays some jokes on me, or on my equipment, sometimes I'm too busy with real life events, so, Google Plus, the invasive and addicting G+, takes a secondary place. Sometimes I'm disappointed by what happens, sometimes the browser crashes when I'm in the middle of commenting on some witty … [Read more...]

Bubblews – A New Social Media Network

Bubblews Relevant Poster

Bubblews was launched in 2012, as a start-up in beta version. At the end of July this year, they re-launched it, this time officially. In a way, it looks like Twitter or Facebook. The difference? It has a new catch, they pay you for your good content. Not much, just a penny per share, comment, or like. Business Insider reported that Facebook reported at least a billion US dollars revenue per month. Not bad at all, I assume that it comes from self promotion ads too, not only from the big … [Read more...]

The Circle by Dave Eggers, a Book About Unity

July 25, 2014 By Daniel Mihai Popescu 2 Comments

Dave Eggers

Dave Eggers is my new hero. I enjoy his writing more than a lot of other things, lately, more than any Dan Brown, for sample. I'm going to speak my mind about Inferno, last Brown's ultra best selling novel, in a future post on this category. Here, I'm gonna praise Mr. Eggers, for his recent The Circle. I have started his 2012 published novel, A Hologram for the King, which determined me to post immediately. Actually I have finished it in the same day, so I have only one word to say about, it: … [Read more...]

Circle Sharing on G+, a Few More Words

July 9, 2014 By Daniel Mihai Popescu Leave a Comment

Sharing Circles on G+

All my circle shares are made to honor you! Technical problems kept me from making my presence adequately felt. I regret that I couldn't thank everyone enough for keeping me in their circles without asking anything. I have disappointed the ones that asked for the moon, and I'm sorry about that. I have been unfollowed or marginalized by people I have communicated with, and why not, helped to be where they are now. [source] The Invincible, my core circle, is the core of almost every … [Read more...]
